I had to keep checking the air in my tires because my “low pressure” light kept turning on every other day. So, I went to my car dealership who said they could check my tires for free, but there was a 2 hour wait to put it on a rack to see if it had a nail. I decided to just look for a regular tire shop since I assumed there was a puncture causing the slow leak in my back tire. I called a few places and Moe’s tire shop was the most responsive and welcoming when I called. They were prompt, friendly, and professional. My tire was repaired in less than 30 minutes. I always appreciate smaller business more than bigger company’s that tend to lack simple kindness in customer service. Thank you Josh and Juan! Hit a pothole (sinkhole!) on a Friday night and damaged a tire. Found Moe's online and went first thing Saturday morning. This is actually the first time I've had a tire issue so I was worried about the upsell. I definitely didn't need to worry-super nice and very fair price. They didn't have the tires I needed in SF so they brought them up from their San Bruno location as I was concerned about driving on the expressway with a bulge in my tire. From arrival to departure was just over an hour. Had breakfast a block over while they took good care of my girl. Got a text when work was complete as well a copy of the invoice, which I appreciate. Hope I don't have any more tire issues, but if I do, I know where to go. Thanks! ~ Jennifer O

I first stopped at this shop to get a price on new tires to mount on the rims. Shop mechanic Abbas was very helpful, in a few minutes he found my tires in stock, and gave me a good price. Offered to mount them the next day which was July 4th! (Unheard of dedication among mechanics in the US). So I decided to tow my other car here, which was substantially damaged in a hit and run the previous week and insurance won't cover it. I'm still waiting for the final word on the scope of repairs, but the initial (verbal) quote seemed to be fair. It seems that I found a trustworthy mechanic for all my car needs. If all goes as expected -this is definitely a 5-star shop. (I will update this review once the job is complete.) ~ Ken K

I was just getting off of work in SF and my tire bust on the freeway. I was so nervous and my stomach was in knots. I was calling around to different tire shops so i could have my car towed. The first tire shop i called was extremely rude. I didn't know my tire size and they did not want to look it up. I was too afraid to get out my car on the freeway and look. When i called Moe’s not only did they look it up they let me know i had 2 options and they had both. The brand new tire was extremely affordable. They even stay open till 8:00 pm. When i arrived via tow truck they were very professional and fast. Thank you guys so much. This was a stressful situation for me and you made the process very easy. I finally have a new tire shop! My former go-to just went out of business, so I searched up the options closest to me. The “pit stop”, a smaller version of their larger operation in South San Francisco, is conveniently located near the heart of the Mission in a gas station at Valencia and 24th. I stopped by without an appointment, and they quickly patched the hole in my tire and checked the air on the others for a reasonable price. Best part was meeting Moe, the man himself. He and the others working there were warm and welcoming… So glad I found this place. ~ Warren B

I got absolutely screwed by some random pothole while I was on a serious time crunch and these guys fixed my tire in 10 minutes inside and out. They were great people to talk to, and they even stopped their work to have me take a picture so I could take it to the city and get compensated. Luckily, I took a picture of the road, and thanks to Moe's I'll be making the city pay for it. Glad the money is ending up in Moe's hands; they really know what they are doing for a good price. I called Moe's Tire Pit about 45 minutes before they closed. They said i could come right over, and so I did. I had a flat tire, and Josh was super friendly and incredibly efficient. He had me in and out in like 20 minutes. And then Moe even fixed my license plate, which was all wonky and sideways. My car was as good as new and the price was so great, especially since it was so last minute. I have mad respect for these gentlemen. I'll be coming back, but hopefully, not too soon 🤣🤣 Thanks guys! ~ Thomas M

Moe's Pit Stop saved my morning last Saturday. I had a puncture flat that I couldn't fix myself due to its location. Time was of the essence, as I had an early engagement in Marin County and I could not afford to burn an hour getting my tire repaired. Arrived at Moe's shortly before 8:30am, was warmly greeted and waited for them to finish one car ahead of me in the queue. They wasted no time and I was on my way before 9:00. Courteous and efficient service, and reasonably priced. 5 stars. ~ Joe K

I recently had an exceptional tire replacement experience at Moe’s. Josh was amazingly efficient, competent, professional and I was back on the road in just 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. What really stood out was Josh’s kind and warm demeanor. He made this stressful situation very pleasant. He wished me a happy Mother's Day multiple times during the interaction!! Very helpful, they got to my car very quickly. They took care of the problems I knew that needed to be done, they also helped me figure out more issues needing to be taken care of. They were kind, funny and very quick at the job. I would suggest that anybody uses their services for their vehicles. It's hard to find trustful individuals here in San Francisco but with this shop I know you have honest hard-working people out to help you achieve a reliable car. ~ Eric E

Everyone at Moe's is super helpful and friendly. I couldn't find the squeegee to wash my windows so the sweet man inside came out with a bucket and did it for me. Then he insisted on checking the air in my tires for me. The men noticed that my windshield wipers needed replacing and again, all was done quickly and efficiently. It felt like the "good old days" in a full service gas station. They went above and beyond! ~ Laura J

I was a little worried when I brought in my bmw to a random tire shop in SF but wow was it the right call. The shop was filled with helpful mechanics who were quick to help diagnose and make a plan to fix all the problems I had. Special thanks to the mechanic Basil. My car all of a sudden started to make a loud and I mean LOUD noise as I was coming down the block. Thankfully, I was almost in front of their shop when it happened. As I pulled in, everyone there heard me coming(lol). Josh, the mechanic, came out immediately and started to check out my car. He was so kind to figure out what was going on and sent me on my way. I've been coming to this shop for years for light duty work. Moe's is a new tenant in the shop and I popped in for a quick rotation. Josh was friendly and efficient. The owner of the gas station has always been great to work with. I've never had a problem here with things I've needed. Moe's appears to be a good place to get tire and axle work done on my EV. Price seems to be about 80% of what the dealer would charge. ~ John T

I cannot say enough about how grateful I am. This place saved me on a Saturday when no one was open… but beyond that their kindness, immediate service and amazing attention to my tire crisis was top notch. After hitting a massive pothole which almost destroyed not one but two of my tires and rims, they did everything to get me back on the road safely. Thank you! Responsive, professional, and quick. Needed a place to tow a dead car after hours, called them, Ali told me to bring it over. They started working on it first thing literally at 8am, called me a couple times during the day with an update, and Aziz had it done by 2pm for a fair price. Only thing I'd improve is it would be nice to get a proper work order with parts/labor for my maintenance history, instead of just the credit card receipt. ~ Preston T

I give them five stars because of their customer service and honesty. Value is reasonable since you do your homework before to go there. I contacted them online and phone first, and they gave me the offer and the quote. Then after I went there, I paid exactly the same as the quote for the new tires, tire installation and service. They are located inside the gas station, just like a garage, but they work great as the professionals, and they do their job carefully; their stock of new tires are reasonable and full of transparency (Maybe you should also check them first before to buy). Shoutout to their staffs and manager because they are extremely friendly and honest like my neighborhood. Bottom line: 1. Do your homework first before to buy; also learn your car first, so you can make decision better on your own before buying. 2. Since you know exactly what you are going to work there, you are fine. Don't be overthinking. 3. They are just running business like the neighborhood, don't expect too much like you are going to the 6 star hotel. But again, they work great and do their job professionally. Can't complain. ~ Siu H

We had an emergency with a huge patch of exposed thread on a trip to San Francisco from Sac. While all other tire shops were overworked or closed, these guys were open and available to get us a brand new stock tire at a great price. They were done in less than 10 minutes and we're super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend for any car needs, big or small. ~ Jackie

Josh has been really great to work with for a few flat tires that I’ve had. You never expect to have a good time when you’re getting your car fixed, but it’s been a surprisingly positive experience — he’s been super communicative, nice to talk to, and went above and beyond to check the health of the car beyond the scope of work. I had a tire emergency and this was the only place open at the time. I called ahead to make sure they would be able to help me since it was 30 minutes before they were going to close and they were very understanding and reassuring. It was great experience I really appreciate the business with them the Guy mechanic was very helpful and fun, fast, pro ,socialab and most importantly kind. As we know most of the tire businesses are closed on Saturday and I was lucky to did my service through Moe,s cuz they are opened till 8 PM. If I could give 25 stars I would! I was en-route to SFO, in bad rain. My tire sensor came on, thinking I had just low pressure due to cold weather, which occurs. I was climbing the hill on Guerrero st, and I heard something. Immediately pulled over , I was totally flat! Turned and limped onto Valencia, at 24th, where I pulled in to meet Basil and his team! I was stressing, thinking I need to get the tire inflated maybe patched, IF I caught it in time! Had no idea they were a newly opened last week, full tire shop! There was a nail in it, Basil had just finished putting 4 tires on a car, they had another car ahead of me with a nail in a tire! But that owner went to dinner, I had told them my stressor to get to SFO airport, which entailed Picking an elder friend in a wheelchair up, they put my car in FRONT of the other! On assessment I had chewed up the wall of my almost new tire! At least I didn’t mess the rim up. They even had the replacement tire in stock! They had me back out the door in half an hour! Basil and his team are awesome! Check them out, they do oil changes too! Oh! Basil is so down to earth, even made me laugh during an initially stressful time, being a crucial to get there situation! ~ Robert P

These guys are incredible! I had a nail in my tire and they were the only shop in San Francisco that was open past 5:30 pm. My regular shop wanted to replace the tire instead of repairing it . Moe’s took care of my tire in 20 minutes, and it was not expensive at all. They are also very friendly and nice which is pretty rare nowadays. Recommend!! ~ Vicki K
